Joy of the Morning

Tuolumne Grove
Total distance walked: 2.5 miles

My friend and I walked quickly through Tuolumne Grove in Yosemite National Park.  We hoped to see the white flowers of the dogwood trees.  Apparently, the end of spring isn’t the right time to view them. A few trees still held blooms that brightened the forest, but most, like spring, were fading away.

There were other interesting flowers though; and of course, there was the joy of spending the morning with a friend.

  1. Once again, I cannot log in to leave a comment via my WordPress account. Funny. But I did love this walk. I am thrilled you found some lingering flowers in bloom. Spring around here and the places I usualy visit was minimal and short-lived. Thanks for sharing.
