Total distance walked: 2.5 miles
On Holy Saturday, my family and I embarked on a refreshing hike along the Merced River.
The cool morning air enveloped us as we followed the well-marked path by the water.
Signs of spring were everywhere—the redbuds were in full bloom, and dainty flowers were beginning to sprout.
On this hushed, reverent day, my heart anticipated the resurrection joy of Easter and all it promises.
Miniature waterfall.
Brightening the world.
Pointing towards heaven.
Finding joy in the simplest of flowers.
