Thanks, Rae. We survived! We evacuated for four nights then left for a six-night vacation in the mountains. So nice to get away.

I’ve been worried that your home might be at risk in this recent fire, as Rae clearly also was. Glad to see these lovely photos as a reassurance that all is well with you!

Thank you, Robin. Yes, we were unharmed. It was our first evacuation though. After cleaning up the mess in the fridge from having no power, we headed higher into the mountains for some R & R.
