Tuolumne Grove, Yosemite National Park
Total distance walked: 2.5 miles
My friend and I walked quickly through Tuolumne Grove in Yosemite National Park. We hoped to see the white flowers of the dogwood trees. Apparently, the end of spring isn’t the right time to view them. A few trees still held blooms that brightened the forest, but most, like spring, were fading away.

There were other interesting flowers though; and of course, there was the joy of spending the morning with a friend.
The tranquility of nature and shared laughter made it a memorable day even without the expected blossoms.
